Every year I have to figure out a way to get to the strawberries before the squirrels, chipmunks and other critters get to them. This year I tried a product called Repels All that I sprinkled around the berry plants. It seemed to work better than anything else that I have tried in past seasons. However, the downside is that it makes the strawberry patch smell like garlic and the critters still figure out a way to get the berries. Notice how the squirrel left the half eaten berry next to the repellent granules? I guess he told me who is really in charge! Oh the joys of gardening!
