New Beginnings

This was the first basket that I made using an agate center base from Prim Pines and it started a new creative rock phase for me. This basket spurred me on to start adding gemstone nugget beads and other rock adornments to my baskets. The agate center base is a beautiful turquoise with white swirling through it. Depending on which way the basket is turned, it looks like a large wave or clouds passing by on a sunny day. I used Loblolly pine needles from Georgia and stitched it together using natural Irish waxed linen thread. Enjoy!
