We have been enjoying a beautiful fall season in the Pacific Northwest
with mild temperatures. Many of the days have been filled with sunshine
between rain showers. My roses are still blooming, along with many other
flowers. It is fun to see how the plants change day to day, especially with raindrops on them. The gorgeous colors of the changing leaves also helped inspire me to make this basket. I also found myself humming the song "My
Favorite Things" from the Sound of Music while working on this basket. This was a
very fun and cheerful basket to make. I made my "Raindrops on Roses" pine needle basket using dyed red and dark brown Longleaf pine needles, red Irish waxed linen thread, red artisan lampwork glass droplet beads and a maroon, red and cream swirled jasper stone set in resin center base.
This basket measures 6-1/2" x 6" x 3-3/4".
ENJOY!
