O Holy Night

I have to admit that I am one of those people who starts to listen to Christmas music right after Thanksgiving is over. I also look forward to all the cheesy Christmas specials and musical performances on tv. I record many of them and watch them over and over again while making baskets, sometimes until the end of January!

Christmas season is such a great time of year and is filled with hope, peace and joy. One of my favorite Christmas carols is "O Holy Night".  The version of this song that Jennifer Nettles sings always gives me chills when I listen to it. I love how she incorporates part of Leonard Cohen's song "Hallelujah" at the end of her performance.  Click here to listen to it on YouTube.

I made my "O Holy Night" pine needle basket using dyed blue and natural brown Longleaf pine needles, dark blue artificial sinew, dark blue riverstone beads, a heart shaped "O Holy Night" pottery pendant bead and a blue and white sodalite angel totem spirit stone set in resin base.
This basket measures 5-1/4" round by 3" high.
ENJOY!
