Dodging Rain And Wind

I have been in the process of updating some of my photos this past month since my basket styles have changed a bit. I am now making larger and more open baskets with lots of light shining through. Plus, many of my baskets are home awaiting the re-grand opening of Sea Hags, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to do this.

It has been challenging since we have had so many storms rolling in off of the Pacific Ocean. I like taking my photos outside in the natural light and natural settings instead of setting up lights inside. I lucked out one morning and had a few hours of no rain or wind and was able to capture these photos. I try to get as many of my baskets as I can in the photos. However, when I brought all of the baskets back inside just as the rain began to come down again, I noticed some that didn't make it outside. Oh well, maybe next time.

It was so wet outside that this little snail even wanted to get on something dry for the moment!

A special thank you to my husband for helping me get most of the baskets outside, help set up and take some of the photos. I am sure it is not what he wanted to do on his day off, but it was very much appreciated to be able to capture the small window of time to take the photos. Enjoy!
