Walking along the beach next to the water while looking for marine life and other treasures has always been one of my favorite things to do. Finding little crabs and watching them scurry down the beach to hide in the rocks or small pools of water is always entertaining. They are so small and cute, but always look like they are ready to attack at anytime! Hermit crabs are always fun to watch when they pop their heads out of their shells and move slowly along the beach. Watching the water squirt up from a clam hole is one of my dogs favorite activities. She can never figure out where the water comes from and sniffs, digs and runs in circles trying to figure it out. I hope everyone can enjoy a peaceful walk along the water this summer wherever it may be.
I made this basket using dyed teal and natural brown Longleaf pine needles, teal Settanyl waxed polyester cord from Brazil, blue African recycled glass beads from Ghana and a beautiful three- dimensional blue crab pottery base.
