One of my favorite things to find on the beach are sand dollars. I still get excited when I find one that isn't broken. I have spent hours beachcombing for these lovely treasures and I am always amazed that they can survive the waves and tide changes. Their intricate and beautiful detail is always a joyful sight to see.
I made my "Washed Ashore" pine needle basket using natural green Longleaf pine needles, sweetgrass, white artificial sinew, light green ocean wave etched lamp work beads, light green sea glass beads and a Pacific sand dollar for the center. Enjoy!
