the Arctic Cathedral in Tromso, Norway.

I made these baskets for the current "Going to the Chapel" exhibit at the Harbor History Museum and they were inspired by some of the chapels, churches and cathedrals that I have been blessed to visit around the world. Regardless of the size of these sacred buildings, where they are located or what religion is represented, I felt the same sense of peace and hope at each one of them. My photos don't do justice to these beautiful and remarkable structures, especially to the ones that have stood through many wars and have existed since Medieval times. Enjoy!

St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle and a church that I can't remember the name of that we walked by everyday in our Shepherd's Bush neighborhood in west London.

Made with multicolored dyed Long Leaf pine needles, dark purple artificial sinew, dyed howlite multicolored cross and round beads and a stained glass center base made by Prim Pines.
