As I sit here at home drinking hot cocoa and looking out at the snow my mind is still in the desert! I am not sure if I would enjoy gardening in the desert climate. However, I did enjoy seeing all of the different kinds of cactuses and plants that do thrive there. I didn't get to see the cactuses in bloom, but I saw photos of them in bloom and they were beautiful. The palm desert oasis with fan palms was really cool to see. I would enjoy having lemon, grapefruit, tangelo and date trees in my garden! I hope the desert breezes blow this way soon and warm us up! Enjoy.
I would love grapefruit, tangelo and date trees in my yard too someday! I like your garden better than the dessert garden (more color in yours) but the dessert has some interesting plants it looks like!
