The Buck Stops Here

This buck has decided to make our property his home. He sleeps on the paths that lead to the garden, but so far has not entered the garden. He startles me every time I see him, especially when he is on the other side of the fence about six feet away from me. Sometimes he will get up and sometimes he just watches me. He only runs off when Lucy decides that she should chase him away. I wish I could get rid of him, but I take full responsibility in continuing to try to keep him out of the garden! Maybe I should name him Buck! Have a great day!

  1. He is pretty! I guess I wouldn't mind them so much if they didn't eat our gardens, trees and flowers. Through trial and error I pretty much have things growing in the front that the deer don't bother....except the new flowering cherry tree, but if it survives once it gets bigger they leave them alone. I hope he stays out of the Garden or Chris will be building more fences!
