Ahhh...walking through a snow covered forest in the wintertime is so peaceful and relaxing. Recently, my granddaughter got to experience this for the first time when her parents took her to the mountains. They snowshoed up to a beautiful alpine lake and were greeted with sunshine at the top. However, they also encountered lots of snow falling on the way down. I am not really sure what my granddaughter thought about the fluffy cold white stuff, but the expression on her face says it all. What a joyful day!
I made my "Snow Forest" pine needle basket using different shades of dyed green Longleaf pine needles, dark brown and white artificial sinew, snowy tree lampwork beads and a beautiful white disaster peak seam agate set in resin base.
