The agate that I used for the base of this basket reminded me of sea foam. Thoughts of walking on the beach right after a wave washes the sea foam ashore and watching the sea foam slowly make its way back to the water was the inspiration for this basket. It always seems like a nice peaceful break before the next wave arrives. I was also thinking about all of the treasures that might be hidden in the sea foam, especially during a storm. May waves of peace fill your day!
I used dyed dark turquoise blue Longleaf pine needles, white artificial sinew, blue sea glass spear beads, a blue sea glass "Peace" pendant and a white and turquoise agate base to make my "Waves of Peace" pine needle basket. Enjoy!
