Worth The Wait

I usually only grow amaryllis in the winter, however, I couldn't resist the after Valentine's Day amaryllis bulb sale. I have been waiting and waiting for them to bloom. I always thought amaryllis only grew in the wintertime and that maybe I got suckered into the sale, because they weren't growing. However, they have finally bloomed! It was well worth the wait, because they are very, cheerful, colorful and HUGE.
