Many years ago I planted Arctic Beauty Kiwi Vines in the back of my garden next to our old unused dog run hoping to turn it into a fun tunnel for the kids to play in. For several years now, the kiwi continues to grow on the fences and many children have had fun exploring this magical place. I recently added garden gnomes hanging from the vines to make it extra magical for my grandchildren to enjoy. I love looking up at all the kiwi vines that have intertwined over the years. Many birds have built nests in the vines and squirrels and chipmunks have enjoyed playing in them and eating the fruit. I also love how the colors of the leaves change with the seasons, especially in the springtime with the vibrant pink, white and green foliage. I have only used kiwi vines in my baskets a few times, but I really need to start to incorporate them more in my basket creations. They are so beautiful how they naturally twist and turn and seem to form a basket all by themselves. The beauty of nature never ceases to amaze me.
ENJOY!
