Montana holds a special place in my heart. I have fond memories of spending part of my childhood growing up in wild open spaces. The vastness, natural beauty and bright blue skies take your breath away. I can't wait to get back to this amazing place to visit family this summer.
It has been cold and rainy with lots of hail showers this spring in the Pacific Northwest. I was dreaming of being in Montana on a warm summer day as I was working on this basket.
"Montana"
I made this basket using several shades of dyed dark brown Longleaf pine needles, brown artificial sinew, two different shapes of picture jasper beads and a picture jasper stone with a tree and plants painted on it that was set in resin for the base. This large open basket measures 12" x 13-1/4" x 1”.
ENJOY!
