I have been having fun lately making large open pine needle baskets. I love how the light shines through them. I used a blue and white agate center that appears to have a large wave in it. When the agate is turned over it looks like the ocean with a large rock and sunset on it. I used natural green and dyed blue Longleaf pine needles, sweetgrass, brown artificial sinew, blue sea glass beads, blue ocean wave etched lampwork beads to complete my "Changing Tides" pine needle and sweetgrass basket.
Tony is becoming more outgoing as he grows older and is enjoying being in front of the camera lately. He has now become my photo assistant even though it makes taking photos a bit more challenging! I am wondering if he thinks that this basket is his new cat bed?
