Almost every summer while visiting our family in Canada I make a basket. However, this year we were unable to make our annul trip, but I still found myself thinking about that special place on the bay. I love sitting on the dock, the sun porch or a rock coiling away while watching the variety of dragonflies flitting about in the sky. Even though I wasn't there this year I made this basket to pretend that I was there! See you next year Canada!
I made this basket using natural brown Longleaf pine needles, brown artificial sinew, African jade beads and a beautiful green and brown dragonfly pottery base. Enjoy!
