I have been busy making ornaments for the past month and still have not become used to working a season ahead for retail sales. However, I still enjoyed all of my favorite pumpkin flavored treats even though Christmas songs were playing in my head!
I used Long Leaf pine needles on each ornament and they are all hand stitched with artificial sinew and adorned with a variety of beads and charms. All of the ornaments in the photos are currently for sale at the Harbor
History Museum gift shop in Gig Harbor.
Most of these ornaments were inspired by the 2 Carolina Sisters (
click here to go to their Etsy shop). They make wonderful supplies for coiling, basket making and crafting. They made the ceramic ornament bases using speckled brownstone clay that are shown in the photos.
