Adorn-a-ments

Some of my latest projects have included making Christmas ornaments. Several people have commented on how they like how I adorn my ornaments with beads and charms, so my husband thought I should call these "adorn-a-ments" instead of ornaments!

Much of the inspiration for my "adorn-a-ments" came from the beautiful designs and well made ceramic ornaments that I found for sale from the 2 Carolina Sisters shop on Etsy. It is always fun to find a new source for basket making supplies, plus a big bonus to find nice people who are very creative and talented.

I used natural green and brown Long Leaf pine needles, red and tan artificial sinew, shine gold twine cording, Czech tree and star glass beads, Peruvian gingerbread men ceramic beads, Indian bell beads, bronze star beads and gold snowflake charms to make these "adorn-a-ments". Enjoy!

All ornaments are currently for sale at the
Harbor History Museum Gift Shop.
