I have always liked roadrunners, because of the roadrunner cartoons that I grew up with. I finally saw a real roadrunner while on our trip to the desert and was surprised at how small they were. I guess when you are a kid watching cartoons everything seems bigger! They were very fast, though, and still made me smile. My parents recently sent me these very cool metal garden roadrunners that they found in Mexico. They are weighted and rock in the wind, so I hope they will help keep the squirrels out of my garden.
